Four Roll Crusher Product Description
The four-roll crusher excels in handling solid materials with compressive strength below 300Mpa and moisture content under 30%. It delivers exceptional fine and medium crushing performance with a high crushing ratio. Perfect for materials like iron ore, quartzite, potassium (sodium) feldspar, limestone, river pebbles, silicon, barite, basalt, granite, steel slag, cement clinker, construction waste (concrete), shale, lime, coal, coke, water slag, clay, gypsum, bentonite, fertilizers, and chemical raw materials. It is distinguished by its low maintenance cost, substantial crushing ratio, low water requirement, low power consumption, reliable performance, low dust, and low noise.
The four-roll crusher comes equipped with four crushing rolls, which can be customized with toothed, surfacing, or flat roll surfaces. It excels in handling feed sizes under 90mm, delivering finished product sizes between 0.3-10mm for medium and fine crushing.
For materials with a compressive strength exceeding 200Mpa, the aggravated model is recommended. The transmission mode can be tailored to the user's requirements, with options including triangle belt and coupling transmission (hard link). In locations without electricity, the crusher can be powered by a diesel or gasoline engine.
Four Roll Crusher Working Principle
Utilizing four high-strength, wear-resistant crushing rolls, the four-roll crusher generates substantial squeezing and shearing forces to effectively crush materials. As material enters the V-shaped gap between the upper two rolls, it is initially squeezed and sheared (coarse crushing). Subsequently, it enters the gap between the lower two rolls where it undergoes further squeezing, shearing, and grinding (fine crushing) to achieve the desired granularity before discharge.
